Visitors can be good medicine for patients. We encourage family members and friends to visit. In order to maintain a safe, comfortable healing environment, the following visiting guidelines have been established:
- Visitors must dress appropriately (shirts and shoes are required).
- Children should always be accompanied by an adult.

Visitor Guidelines
SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City and SSM Health Medical Group have updated our masking policy:
- We no longer require universal masking for staff and visitors.
- Masking remains required for staff caring for patients with known or suspected COVID-19 and other upper respiratory symptoms.
- Visitors are to mask if they have known or suspected COVID-19 and are encouraged to do so if they have upper respiratory symptoms.
- Patients continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms with masks provided to those who need to mask.
- Staff, patients and visitors' choice to mask is respected.

The chapel, located on the hospital's main floor by the main lobby, is open 24 hours daily. Mass is held Thursdays at noon.

Sacraments
Holy Communion is offered daily to our Catholic patients and to our Protestant patients upon request. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick and Sacrament of Reconciliation may be celebrated with patients and their families upon request.
Your own minister, rabbi or priest is always welcome to visit you while you are here. If you need assistance contacting them, please let us know.
We know you have the best intentions. Unfortunately, sometimes outside gifts – such as food, drinks and flowers – can actually be harmful to patients. Please check with the unit nurse before bringing any gifts.

Parking & Driving Directions
There is accessible parking available at all three of our entrances. Our visitor parking structure is located across from our main entrance and can be accessed by taking the first right turn at the round-about.

For visitors of our outpatient and Health Plaza services, there is surface parking located near the entrance. To access parking for the Health Plaza, take the second turn at the round-about onto Rolling Hills Drive.
There is dedicated parking for emergency room visitors, located in front of the emergency room entrance. To access, take the second turn at the round-about onto Rolling Hills Drive.
For your convenience, there are covered drop-off and pick-up areas at the visitor/main and outpatient/Health Plaza entrances. If you need assistance, please notify the guest services representative or volunteer located inside the entrance.
